Welcome Veronika — Our New Brand & Marketing Manager

This month we welcomed Veronika Kemp as Caffeine Limited’s new Brand & Marketing Manager. Veronika brings extensive experience in specialty coffee, brand building and operational marketing.
Her mission is to elevate Caffeine’s visibility across the UK hospitality and retail coffee sector by strengthening our brand identity, aligning our digital channels, and showcasing the full value of our turnkey coffee solutions — from espresso machinery and training, to service, uptime and our growing retail coffee offering.
She will be working across the business to ensure that operators, baristas, and end customers understand what makes Caffeine unique:
- Service excellence
- Unmatched uptime
- Engineering expertise
- A people-led approach
- A developing coffee programme designed for modern venues
Her first week began with an international deep dive into the future of coffee…

COHO Expo Berlin — Key Coffee & Hospitality Trends for 2026
Veronika and Joe attended the COHO Coffee Hospitality Expo, a major European trade show focused on the future of coffee service, technology, and hospitality operations. It is recognised across the industry as a hub for innovation and insight, attracting operators, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and technology partners.

These are the key trends shaping the UK and European coffee market going into 2026:
1. Automation & Workflow Efficiency
Venues are increasingly looking for machinery that enhances speed, consistency, and ease of use. Automated milk systems, workflow-friendly designs and smart interfaces were central themes throughout COHO.
2. Reliability & Uptime
Operators are prioritising service support, preventative maintenance, and robust engineering. Downtime is now seen as a critical commercial risk — reinforcing the importance of Caffeine’s service-first model.
3. Growth of Iced & Flavoured Beverages
Iced coffee and flavoured lattes continue to outperform traditional beverages year-round. Trend-led menus, plant-based options and customisation remain major drivers of customer choice.
4. Sustainability in Hospitality Equipment
Energy-efficient machinery, recyclable packaging, sustainable roasting partnerships and carbon-conscious operations were prominent across exhibitors and panel discussions.
5. The Consumer Experience Matters More Than Ever
Customers expect personalisation, speed, and high-quality drinks. Operators are searching for suppliers who can support them with training, recipes, coffee programmes, and machinery that delivers consistent results.
These insights align directly with our strategy for 2026: combining uptime, smart machinery, skilled service teams, and exceptional coffee to provide full turnkey support across hospitality and leisure.

Drink of the Month: Oatly Winter Recipe — Salted ‘Egg’ Custard Latte
As part of our close partnership with Oatly, we’re featuring one of the standout winter beverages from the Oatly Autumn/Winter 2025 Lookbook: the Salted ‘Egg’ Custard Latte.
This plant-based winter drink combines:
Smooth Oatly Barista Edition
Pumpkin purée
Smoked salt
Kala namak (black salt)
A light, whipped oat custard created using a siphon
It delivers a rich, velvety texture with balanced winter flavours — perfect for cafés wanting to expand their seasonal menu with a plant-based option that feels both premium and accessible.
We’ll be sharing more retail coffee recipes and signature drink ideas as we continue developing our coffee programme into 2026.
And Finally…. What’s Coming in December
As we wrap up the year, the team at Caffeine is preparing for:
- New machinery installations across the UK
- Growing service operations and preventative maintenance offerings
- A refreshed approach to digital marketing and content
